Indoor Activities for Toddlers?

I am looking for ideas of things I can do with my toddler daughter this winter. She is 2 and a half years old. In the summer, we routinely went to the park, played in the yard, went swimming, but didn't do much indoors. Now that it is getting colder I am finding there is not much to do. I've taken her to Petsmart several times, and to the library, grocery store, etc... just looking for something more to where she can play and use some energy. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

  1. How about arts and crafts at home. At that age, she probably could help you make cookies and stuff... kids love that! :-D
  2. I'm planning on getting those play tubes- and play tends for my sons'- because it seems like it'll entertain them. Also, we brought their bikes in- and let them ride their trikes around the downstairs area- they love it (and can do it for hours!) Also, check some local places- sometimes there's indoor play areas in the area. There's one about 40 minutes away from me for kids 5 and under- but I had to look around the internet to find out about it.
  3. I have the same problem, and dont want to go out cause my 4 month old. My son is 27 months and i put his bike inside so he can ride around the house, i also have him help me bake cakes and make cookies, he loves pouring the ingredients in the bowl. Recently we bought a small trampoline and put it inside during the day, he loves it!
  4. in the uk we have soft play areas which are absolutely amazing and my 2 year old oves going. I guess you are in the US but I guess they have them there too ?
  5. if yall have one of those bounce a roo things in your city?you could play like puppy and stuff inside
