What movie do you think has done the most to influence modern American culture? Indedd, movies have an influence on philosophy, or pop culture by being referenced, or bybeing a cultural phenomenon, etc. So which do you think is most influential? Explain your answer!

1. Whether its the "most influential" or not, it is my opinion that the movie Colors glamorized the gang lives of Crips and Bloods. In my neighborhood (not southern cal) there were no crips or bloods until after this movie came out. Now u have them in every state and I wouldnt be surprised if its not just in America.
2. it has to be star trek which originated as a tv series and led to many movie sequels...many of the notions created by this series are with us today...from equal employment notions to simple things like cell phones
