Influences? I'm 16 fyi, so my thought process may not be so clear. With all the influences of t.v and society these days, is it possible that people do things because they got the idea of it from t.v or society. I became interested in this with the idea of "why people cut themselves". Without t.v or society, would someone still express themselves through cutting even if they havent seen or heard of it from some place else. As in would people still act the same way to something even if they havent seen it before? Another idea is, do you think that some people think they could be gay only because they saw something or someone tells them they are gay or something. As in would people still identifty themselves as gay, if society hadnt told them that they were. I do agree though, that some people just have an attraction to the same gender and would see that anyway. Im sorry if this makes no sence, i tried to work the best of it.
